Purchasing Policies
SHIPPING
Shipping will be mid to late April weather permitting. Tubers will be shipped via USPS, 3-day Priority with $100 insurance. Cost for shipping is $15 for any size order. We only ship with in the U.S.
We will combine shipping on multiple orders from the same address and buyer. For multiple orders, use code COMBINE2025.
All tubers in your order will have an active eye or sprout. A tracking number will be sent to your email. We recommend tracking your package with USPS and following its progress. Please remove packages from your mailbox as soon as possible. If your forecast has freezing temps, exposure of less than 1/2 hour is recommended. We cannot be responsible for frozen or uncared for tubers. For damages in shipping, you will need to file a claim with USPS.
GUARANTEE
We guarantee the varieties you purchased are as labeled. We are a small farm and take great care to ensure tubers are not mislabeled. We verify blooms on each plant throughout the season as they bloom. In the event you think you've gotten a mislabeled tuber, we will replace it the following season.

LIMITS
We are limiting certain varieties to spread the love. That way more people can grow the highly sought after varieites.
VIRUSES AND SANITATION
Bayview Gardens takes precautions to prevent the spread of dahlia diseases. We sanitize all cutting tools and equipment with bleach when harvesting and dividing tubers.
Despite sanitation and efforts to prevent disease, there is no guarantee that any dahlia tuber is 100% disease free. Dahlias are grown outdoors and factors beyond our control can contribute to disease presence. Unfortunately virus is very common in dahlias. This means we cannot guarantee all tubers are virus free. That being said, we take virus very seriously and go to great lengths to keep our stock as healthy as possible.
REFUNDS
Sorry no refunds past 5 days after delivery. Please inspect your tubers upon arrival. We will require you to send back tubers if you request a refund.
If your tubers were damaged during shipping you can file a claim on the package's insurance. Additionally, we will not be responsible for lost packages.
All tubers will be showing an eye or have a sprout when shipped. We cannot be resposible for how the tubers are handled after they leave the farm. We take pride in our packaging to ensure tubers arrive safely.
TRADEMARK POLICY
We are a licensed seller of varieties from Santa Cruz Dahlias. Their trademarked varieties can be freely grown, multiplied, traded, or donated. Growers can freely sell the cut flowers. They can freely harvest, share, or sell seeds. Customers who purchase trademarked varieties may not sell cuttings, tubers, or plants without a license from Santa Cruz Dahlias.
